Alexandros Karydis-Karandreas is a Founding Partner of SPOROS Platform, the first Circular Economy Impact Investing Fund in Greece & Southeast Europe, promoting climate resilience, nature-based solutions and biodiversity protection (“Dark Green” Article 9 designation under SFDR).

He also serves as a Partner of MENA Maritime Accelerator, launched by ATHENA Research & Innovation Centre, dedicated to accelerating the green transformation and decarbonisation of the maritime industry (awarded at the Bravo Sustainability Αwards 2023).

Alexandros is a business Lawyer and accredited Mediator, with extensive experience in the Energy sector, specializing in international commercial contracts, corporate governance, clean energy & sustainable finance. He has an international experience in corporate law, having provided legal services in EU institutions (Brussels) and the shipping sector (London), with a proven track record in M&A, banking and finance, as an associate of Tier 1 law firms.

Alexandros holds an L.L.B. from the University of Athens, Faculty of Law and an L.L.M. from the London School of Economics Political Sciences (LSE). Amongst others, he has served as Legal Counsel and BoD member of LSE Alumni and coordinator of the LSE Alumni Innovation and Entrepreneurship Hub in Greece, recognised as a global LSE Impact Ambassador. – Qualified Mediator and ADR expert (FACILIT 8, CIArb) – Member of the Association of Greek Commercialists, Energy Law Association and Hellenic Scholars’ Association of Commercial Business Law.
