SIGNING OF A COOPERATION MEMORANDUM WITH SOUTH KOREA: A Landmark Moment for Greece and the Greek One Health Team!

Members of the Scientific Council of MED OHC, together with the Chairman of the Board of Directors, traveled to Daegu, South Korea, to participate in the FASAVA Congress 2025 from October 31 to November 2, 2025. During the event, MED OHC representatives presented the organization and its vision for One Health, signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with their Korean partners in an official Ceremony held in their honor.
This milestone opens new horizons for collaboration and creative initiatives, reaffirming their commitment to promoting One Health at an international level.
The signing ceremony was attended by officials and representatives from Korean associations, including Dr. Juhyung Hur, who stressed the importance of international collaboration in the field of One Health and welcomed the new framework of cooperation with MED OHC.
This agreement lays the foundation for joint scientific initiatives, knowledge exchange, and collaboration in research programs, aiming to improve quality of life through prevention and education under the One Health strategy.
The MoU outlines cooperation in areas including the development and dissemination of the One Health approach, partnerships for the prevention and management of zoonotic diseases, education and training, and addressing antimicrobial resistance as well as other critical public health issues.
We sincerely thank the representatives of the Korean organizations who attended the ceremony, organized in honor of the Greek One Health Team, for their spirit of collaboration and willingness to advance together.
Together, we continue to strengthen the ties between the Mediterranean and Asia through the prism of “One Health”, building bridges of cooperation.This collaboration is founded on mutual respect, knowledge exchange, and our shared commitment to progress and innovation.
