Dr. Andreopoulou holds a BSc in Mathematics from AUTH, BSc in Forestry and Natural Environment & Ph.D in Forest Informatics from AUTH, Post-Doc in University of East London, UK, University of Napoli & University of Basilicata, Italy. She is currently Director in Lab of Forest Informatics.
Her scientific interests are in Green Informatics, ICTs for environmental protection, for sustainable development and for climate change mitigation, Smart Green topics and Green Deal in EU, green regional policies towards SDGs achievement, e-green tourism policies.
She has published 5 books, 21 chapters in books, more than 100 papers in scientific journals and more than 250 papers in Conference proceedings.
She has been rewarded with 2 excellence awards from AUTH, in 2016 & 2019.
Scientific coordinator in 6 bilateral agreements with Polytechnic of Madrid, University of Napoli, University of Basilicata, Polytechnic of Bucharest, University of Bordeaux, University of Valladolid. Scientific Coordinator in Interreg Project.
Invited speaker in international conferences about green informatics and sustainability regional policies, smart green issues. Associate Editor of sc. journals Int. J. of Sustainable Agricultural Management and Informatics” & “Journal of Agricultural Informatics” Member in International Relations Committee of AUTH.
She has organized many International Conferences and edited special issues in scientific journals. She is an active member in NGOs and Societies.
