Professor Emmanouil Papadogiannakis, DVM, PhD, Department of Public Health Policy,Veterinary Public Health Animal Diseases, University of West Attica
Professor Emmanouil Papadogiannakis is a graduate and Doctor of the Veterinary School of the University of Thessaloniki, and an international scholarship holder of the State Scholarship Foundation (IKY) with specialist studies in the United Kingdom.

He is the Director of the Department of Veterinary Public Health, School of Public Health, University of West Attica where he teaches the course of Zoonotic Diseases to the postgraduate students and the medical specialists of the General Medicine and Labor specialties.

He has published a large number of papers in international scientific journals and has given numerous lectures as an invited speaker at National, European and World Veterinary Congresses.

He is a reviewer of papers in many international veterinary and medical journals, has participated in more than 45 research programs and is the author of the book “Zooanthroponoses: Diseases transmitted from animals to humans and vice versa” as well as 9 other scientific monographs.

He is a Corresponding Member of the Hellenic Veterinary Academy, a Regular Member of many scientific societies in Greece and abroad and a Visiting Professor at two Veterinary Schools abroad.
