Athina Trachili is a veterinarian, a freelancer, President of the Panhellenic Veterinary Association and General Secretary of the Pan-European Federation of Veterinarians in the field of Freelance Veterinarians.

She has served as a member of the Steering Committee of Health Workers (TSAY – Health Workers’ Voluntary Pension and Insurance Fund), General Secretary of the Steering Committee of the Geotechnical Chamber of Greece (Peloponnese and Western Greece Branch) and 2nd Vice President of the Board of the Geotechnical Chamber of Greece (GEOTEE).

She was a member of the Working Group of the Federation of Veterinarians of Europe, F.V.E., for the consultation regarding the new EU legislative framework for the management of veterinary medicines and the protection of Public Health.

As President of the Panhellenic Veterinary Association, she has contributed to the formation of the Network of Volunteer Veterinarians, with actions throughout the country, while having the responsibility of coordinating the Network.

She has undertaken initiatives for the promotion of One/Unified Health, most recently the organization of the 1st One Health Forum in Greece, which was organized under the responsibility of the Panhellenic Veterinary Association on December 2018 at the Athens War Museum, and has received many awards for her voluntary action.

She holds a postgraduate degree in “Health Care & Welfare Management” and a Master’s degree in Public Health from the Medical School of the University of Patras.
